INTRODUCTION
Tinea Capitis
Head and neck: Treatment of the tinea capitis (tinea cruris) in adults. This condition affects up to 1 in 3 people. The most common symptoms are: 1. Headache 2. Dizziness 3. Indigestion 4. Nausea 5. Aching muscles 6. Ache

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to fluconazole or any of the excipients.
DOSAGE
The recommended dose is one 200 mg tablet taken once a day at approximately the same time of the day. If you have a severe skin reaction (hives, swelling of the lips, face, throat or tongue) or an allergic reaction (rash, itching or hives on the skin) see your doctor.
Do not take more than the recommended dose. If you forget to take the dose, take it as soon as you remember -- it will be taken as soon as you remember. If you have problems with your liver or kidneys, please inform your doctor before taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine for viral infections (eg, hepatitis C, flu) unless your doctor has told you otherwise.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it or to any of the excipients. See your doctor for more details.
Do not use this medicine if you have: a known sensitivity to fluconazole, excipients, or any other ingredients in this medicine.
Talk to your doctor before using this medicine if: you have any of the following medical conditions: heart disease, uncontrolled blood circulation, porphyria, porphyria associated with the eye, porphyria associated with the liver, or any type of liver problem.
Tell your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following effects:
- Ringing in the ears, hearing loss;
- Seizures (convulsions);
- Severe skin reactions (hives, itching) in the skin;
- Severe hair growth in the scalp (hirsutism).
Hypersensitivity or allergic to fluconazole or any excipient in this medicine or to any of the excipients in this medicine.
The following conditions may occur when you take this medicine.
Fluconazole is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections, including vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush, oral thrush), esophageal candidiasis (candida esophagitis), other candida infections (including urinary tract infections, peritonitis [inflammation of the lining of the stomach], and infections that may occur in different parts of the body), or fungal (cryptococcal) meningitis. It is also used in children on life support called extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). This medicine works by killing the fungus or yeast, or preventing its growth. Fluconazole is also used to prevent candidiasis in patients having bone marrow transplants who receive cancer or radiation treatment.

DIFLUCAN® ONE is administered orally. Use in AdultsFor vaginal candidiasis, fluconazole 150 mg (DIFLUCAN® ONE) should beadministered as a single oral dose. The median time to onset of symptom relief following a 150 mg single oral dose for thetreatment of vaginal candidiasis is one day. The range of time to onset of symptomrelief is one hour to nine days. Use in ChildrenSingle dose fluconazole is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of ageexcept under doctor supervision.
Side Effects
Common fluconazole side effects include nausea, headache, and stomach pain. Diarrhea is also possible. Mild side effects tend to resolve on their own or go away when you finish your treatment course.
